Privacy Policy

Chapter A – General

  1.  Insurance Agency Ltd., company no.  (hereinafter: “the Company”) respects the privacy of its customers and users of its digital services (hereinafter: “the User”).
    The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to detail the information the Company collects about you and the ways in which it is used when you access and use all of the Company’s digital assets and services, including its website, mobile applications, and other online services such as WhatsApp (collectively: the “Digital Services” or the “Services”).
    This Privacy Policy constitutes an integral part of the Terms of Use, and it is important that you read those as well. All definitions and terms in this Privacy Policy shall have the same meaning as in the Terms of Use, unless the context otherwise requires.
  2. The Company may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect technological, business, legal, or regulatory changes. In such cases, the updates will be included in this document and published in the Digital Services. Continued use of the Digital Services after such updates constitutes your consent to the changes. Therefore, the Company recommends reviewing this Privacy Policy periodically.
  3. The information below is intended to help you, the user of the Digital Services, understand the Company’s information security and privacy protection practices, acknowledging that the protection of privacy in the Company’s databases and the safeguarding of information confidentiality are essential aspects of the relationship between the Company and you.

Chapter B – Information Collection and Use

  1. We receive and/or collect information from the User and use it as follows: Information you provide or enter when using the Digital Services and/or information generated as a result of your use of the Digital Services. This information is used to improve, enhance, and/or modify the Services and their content, to update the User, to contact the User for inquiries, and to streamline and complete the services the User has requested or shown interest in. It may also be used to conduct satisfaction surveys regarding promotions and/or services offered by the Company and/or its representatives and/or third parties with whom the Company has business cooperation (subject to User consent). For further details on the use of information, see Section 13 of this Privacy Policy.
  2. The Company may use AI-based technologies, including but not limited to generative AI, digital and voice AI agents, advanced analytics tools, and machine learning for the following purposes: customer management, service, and communication; operational handling of all customer matters within the group; insurance services; capital management and financial services; and marketing, statistical, actuarial, and business needs, as well as related services, subject to applicable law.
    The use of AI may include process and product improvement, producing insights based on customer and potential customer variables (some of which are non-identifying), making decisions related to service eligibility and terms, including pricing, underwriting, fraud detection, claim handling, and business-related assessments such as the likelihood of an insurance event or claim.
  3. Subject to the User providing contact details and consenting to receive direct marketing communications, including advertisements as defined in the Communications Law (Telecommunications and Broadcasting), 1982, the Company may send the User—via email and/or other contact methods—information about its services as well as promotional and marketing materials.
    The User may withdraw consent at any time using the “unsubscribe” button included in the message or by replying with the word “remove.”
    The Company may also contact you using the contact information you provided, including when you express interest in the Company’s services (even if registration was not completed) or when you request additional information.

General Information About Visitors to the Digital Services

  1. We use automated tools to analyze User behavior and improve the experience. These tools collect information regarding Users and their usage patterns, including (but not limited to): number of visitors, internet service provider details, IP address, device location, referral source, browsing times and patterns, browser type, and additional behavioral indicators.
    This information is collected on an aggregated, non-identifiable basis. No personally identifiable information is linked to it.
    The aggregated information is shared with the Company’s various business units to enhance content quality and service performance.
  2. The Digital Services may use cookies, including Google Analytics cookies, to support proper operation and collect statistical data, verify information, tailor services to User preferences, customize product offerings, present personalized ads or content based on Company services, simplify usage, and support security needs.
    Cookies are created during use (subject to device settings). Some expire upon closing the Services, while others remain stored on the device.
    If you do not wish to accept cookies, you may change your browser settings; however, disabling cookies may impair access to certain features or services.

 

Disclosure of Information to Third Parties

9.     The Company takes reasonable measures to protect personal information and prevent disclosure to third parties, except in the following cases:

  • At the User’s request and/or with the User’s consent;
  • As part of collaborations with companies with whom the Company conducts business;
  • When providing aggregated, non-identifiable statistical information to third parties, including advertisers;
  • When the User violates the Terms of Use or Privacy Policy or attempts to take illegal or unauthorized actions;
  • Pursuant to a court order or request from an authorized authority;
  • In any dispute, claim, demand, or legal proceeding between the User (or anyone on their behalf) and the Company (or its representatives) or any third party;
  • When the Company believes disclosure is necessary to prevent serious harm to property, safety, or persons;
  • As part of transferring or assigning Company operations, rights, or obligations to a third party, provided that party agrees to comply with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.

For clarity: this does not restrict the Company from sharing non-personal,        non-identifiable information.

Personal Information

  1. The Company collects personal information from visitors to the Digital Services, such as: name, address, phone number, email address, etc., including in the following circumstances:
  • The visitor chooses and agrees to provide such information;
  • Information is provided voluntarily subject to this Privacy Policy;
  • The Company conducts an online survey based on user consent.
  1. The Company uses the collected personal information to provide the requested service and/or respond to inquiries submitted by visitors.
  2. Information you provide—subject to your consent and free will—is the property of the Company.
    The Company will protect your privacy and personal information in accordance with the Privacy Protection Law, 1981 (“Privacy Protection Law”), and any applicable laws.
    The Company will not transfer your personal information to any third party or use it beyond the scope of the Services, except in accordance with the law and Section 9 of this Privacy Policy.
    The Company will take all reasonable measures to prevent unauthorized access.
  3. Without limiting the above, you acknowledge that all information provided or collected about you through the Digital Services will be stored in the Company’s databases and the databases of Group Companies* and may be shared among them and processed—including via AI**—for purposes such as customer management, service, operational handling, financial services, marketing, statistical, actuarial, and business purposes, direct mailing, and related services, subject to law.
    You are not legally required to provide the information, but without it the Company may be unable to provide some or all services.
    You may contact the Company or Group Companies at any time to review or correct your information (see your rights in Section 19).

Clarification Regarding Removal of Information From the Agency’s Database

A request to remove your information may significantly affect our ability to provide ongoing service, including:

  • Insurance claims handling — without your details, we cannot verify eligibility or assist with your claim.
  • Important updates — you may not receive information regarding policy renewals, coverage changes, or regulatory updates.
  • Customer service — we may be unable to identify you as a customer, preventing assistance.
  • Policy validity — in some cases, removal of details may cause coverage to lapse if we cannot contact you before policy expiration.

If you choose to proceed with removal, we will do so in accordance with the law; however, we require your confirmation that you understand the implications.

** “Artificial Intelligence” – information processing using AI systems as updated from time to time (see Section 5 for details).

Information About Registered Users

  1. Subject to your consent to this Privacy Policy, the Company collects information regarding usage patterns (such as number of page views, time spent on each page, etc.) of users who have registered through the Digital Services to identify areas of interest. The Company may use this information to inform registered users about products and services that may interest them and their family members.
  2. If you registered under “Personal Information”, you may access the information you provided at any time via the “Update Details” option to verify accuracy and completeness, using the username and password assigned during registration.

Information Security and Confidentiality

  1. The Company does everything in its power to protect the confidentiality of information provided by users, using advanced security measures.
    The User acknowledges that although the Company invests significant resources to prevent intrusions and protect privacy, absolute protection cannot be guaranteed.
  2. Information security in the Company’s Services ensures customer identification and encryption of transmitted identification data. Before purchasing a product or receiving services involving personal information, you may be required to provide personal identification details.
  3. Communication between the User and the Company’s Services is encrypted according to strict requirements. The Company reserves the right to update its security measures to align with industry standards.
Your Rights and Protection of Your Privacy
According to the Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981, you can review the information about you that is in the company’s databases and even ask the company to correct this information if it is incorrect, incomplete or inaccurate.   2. This Policy supplements the Terms of Use and does not derogate from them in any way.
  3. Please note: Oren Mizrah systems include an automatic mechanism that records and logs all actions or attempted actions in accordance with the law for security and privacy purposes.
